KSM united when the Disney Company was willing to sponsor a new all girl band dedicated to a new generation of music. KSM was not the first rock band containing all females, but they were mentored by one. The Go-Go's were helping KSM reach the confidence while performing, & to perform at the best of their abilities. The self confidence in which the Go-Go's gave the girls was just enough to launch their careers in the rock & roll industry.

KSM's big debut began on the 2008 Tour of Gymnastics Superstars. On tour, KSM provided gymnastics fans with songs such as "Hero In You", & "Permission To Party". Although KSM hadn't been as popular as they had hoped to be after the tour, their fan base grew rapidly after such shows at The Roxy in Los Angeles, & the tour with the Cheetah Girls in early 2009.

Now, KSM has recently finished up a tour with Demi Lovato, & has begun a tour with Mitchel Musso. Hopefully, by the end of the Mitchel Musso summer tour, KSM will have the gratitude & fan base they deserve, because us true KSM phans know it’s long over due.

HI MY NAME IS KATE! The date to remember is APRIL 19,1991. On that date, I was born in San Francisco, California. When I was a wee lass, I started piano lessons. After that I picked up a bunch of other random instruments (violin, mandolin, guitar, and bass to name a few) until I found the drums and decided that they were the best instrument EVER. Some things about me…I’m extremely random. I’m always looking for a laugh and like to make others laugh WITH me. I LAUGH A LOT…at everything and everyone. Some other hobbies of mine include texting up a storm, myspacing, facebooking, and making movies. I enjoy eating (with an emphasis on Taco Bell, In N Out, and Cracker Barrel) and I drink an unhealthy amount of soda and coffee. I also enjoy listening to my iPod 24/7 and I never go anywhere without it. I like hats. Crazy, weird, whatever, they are all awesome! I love sunglasses too, but somehow I manage to break them very easily. Sometimes I get so hyper that its scary. I’m easily inspired. Travis Barker and John Bonham are my main drumming inspirations because they changed music forever with the way they played. Someday I hope to do that as well or at the very least, inspire others to pick up drums.

What's uuuuupp, I'm Katie. First things first, a little background info. Weeell, I was born in Ohio on July 30th, 1993, moved to North Carolina when I was four. I've been singing since I could talk, probably even before that. I also really like acting. I started doing that when I was about 10, and began coming out to California when I was 12 and staying for a few months at a time. I decided to start playing guitar when I was thirteen, and shortly after that, I joined this band! Now here I am. RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME Well, you already know that I can't whistle. But here are some others. I'm fifteen years young. I love people, all people, talk to me and I love you. Music is my oxygen. I'm also obsessed with photography. I pray for rainy days in California. I love incense and anything that smells good. Pink is one of my favorite artists, I think she's so cool. I consider myself extreeemely blessed. I laugh way too much, and I'm okay with that. I LOVE TO TALK. Except for on my "quiet nights" - I have one of those every once in a while, and I'm pretty sure everyone marks it on their calendars. I speak fluent sarcasm. My hair is actually curly, I just straighten it sometimes. Sushi is my favorite food. I write music - so I suggest you don't break my heart ;] Sugar Gliders are the coolest animals alive. I'm quite the crazy one, and I find that I get weird looks a lot - I just ignore them. Oh well, enough about me. Now let's talk. :)

Hey I'm Shae (does that rhyme?) hmm anyway, I’m the old lady of the band at 18 years old, as of October 16th. I picked up the guitar 6 years ago, and haven’t been able to put it down since. My family has been there every step of the way. Without them, I wouldn’t get to watch my dreams come true everyday through music. Other stuff you may not know, I have two cats and one dog, and in the past I’ve been known to have everything from rats to a salamander. I look forward to rainy days, and especially thunder storms. My favorite color is blue, and if you bring me a Twix, well I might just love you forever.

Hello there, ladies and gents. My name is Shelby Cobra. No, my last name isn’t really Cobra. It grew as a nickname in Junior High because my favorite (and hopefully future) car is a 1965 Shelby Cobra. Now, everyone knows me by that. I grew up in, and am still growing up in a small city in Southern California, right by Six Flags Magic Mountain :). I'm 5 foot 4, fifteen years young as of April 26, and naturally a brunette. I have two sisters, one brother, two dogs, and a cat. Ants are my favorite animals. I don't have a favorite color because I don’t like to discriminate. And oh yeah, I’m desperately, head-over-heals in love with music <3. I started singing in my grandma’s living room with the remote control to my mouth when I was 4 years old, and ever since it has become my dream, my passion, and the most important thing in my life. I pursued musical theatre until I was 12, which was when I started leaning more towards becoming a rock recording artist. I love writing songs, performing on stage, and playing guitar. Basically, music keeps me from going sane.

i'm seventeen years old. i love the fall. my favorite song is Hotel California. my favorite band is the Velvet Underground. i write songs to remember. and sometimes to forget. i wish i lived in the 1960s. my favorite movie is Almost Famous. i love Andy Warhol. my favorite book is White Oleander. i play a pink bass.
